My Story
I am a retired Registered Nurse, former 13 year old Civil Rights Activist from 1961 who marched in the American Civil Rights Freedom marches and jailed the first time at that age for Social Changes. These marches brought about Louisville, KY, being the first city in the South to have the May 14, 1963 "Public Accommodations Law of Integration". Louisville, KY has been twice awarded a "Compassionate City". This book tells the story dating back from Slavery to the importance of Education and strong 'Family Roots'.
